Terms and Conditions: Roof Replacement Offer
Thank you for considering Artisans Roofing Mainland Ltd and Artisans Roofing 2020 Ltd for your roofing needs. Please review the following terms and conditions associated with our advertised roof replacement offer:
1. Scope of Roofing
1.1 This offer applies solely to roofs measuring up to 150 square meters in surface area, excluding any additional structures or areas not typically considered part of the main roofing structure. Roofs containing asbestos materials are explicitly excluded from this offer due to safety and legal considerations. Customers with asbestos-containing roofs can inquire about specialized services tailored for such cases.
2. Scope of Roofing
2.1. The estimated completion time of two weeks is subject to potential alterations caused by unpredictable weather conditions prevalent in New Zealand. Adverse weather events, including heavy rain, storms, or high winds, may necessitate rescheduling and extending the completion timeline for the safety and quality of the roofing work.
3. Subcontractors and Third Parties
3.1. While we endeavour to maintain efficient project timelines, any unforeseen delays caused by subcontractors or third-party service providers, such as delivery companies or utility providers, are beyond our direct control and are not deemed our liability.
4. Accuracy of Information Provided
4.1. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate and comprehensive information concerning the roof’s condition and any related aspects. Any inaccuracies or omissions in the provided information may significantly impact the estimated timeline and cost. In such instances, any resultant changes in scope, timeline, or cost will be communicated and mutually agreed upon before progressing further.
5. Commencement of Timeline
5.1. The two-week timeframe begins upon the arrival of our authorized team on-site, fully prepared and equipped to commence the agreed-upon roofing work. Please note that any delays arising from initial assessments, site preparations, or safety inspections are not included in the stipulated timeframe.
6.Scope of Works
6.1. If, during the initial inspection or as work progresses, additional issues or variations are identified that were not initially part of the agreed-upon scope of work, the customer will be promptly notified. Any necessary modifications or additional work required will be thoroughly discussed, and any resulting changes in the timeline or cost will be mutually agreed upon before implementation.
7. Unforeseen Delays
7.1. Delays attributable to circumstances beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, etc.), government actions, civil disturbances, labour strikes, material shortages, or other unforeseen situations, may impact the project timeline. While we will make reasonable efforts to minimize these delays, we cannot accept liability for events beyond our control.
8. Act of God Clause
8.1. Events categorized as “Acts of God,” such as natural disasters or unforeseeable occurrences (earthquakes, storms, etc.), are outside our control. Therefore, we are not accountable for any delays or damages resulting from these events affecting the project timeline or execution.
9. Consent Processes
9.1. Delays associated with the processing of necessary permits, approvals, or other legal prerequisites essential for the project’s execution, including local council consents, are not within our direct control. We aim to facilitate and expedite these processes but cannot be held responsible for any delays incurred.
10. Asbestos Roof Replacements
10.1. Due to the specialized handling and stringent safety measures required, asbestos roof replacements are not encompassed within this offer. Customers seeking services related to asbestos-containing roofs can request information regarding specific solutions tailored to these requirements.
11. Supplier Related Delays
11.1. Delays arising from unforeseen issues with material availability or disruptions within the supply chain, such as shortages, transportation challenges, or delays from manufacturers, may potentially impact the project’s completion timeline.
12.Exclusions of Additional Services
12.1. This offer is specific to the replacement of roofing within the designated timeframe and does not encompass any additional services unless explicitly agreed upon separately. Services such as insulation installation, gutter and downpipe replacements, custom flashing installations, or skylight installations are not included in this particular offer. Customers interested in such additional services can inquire separately to discuss bespoke solutions and associated costs.
13. Legal Entity and Business Details
13.1. Artisans Roofing Mainland Ltd and Artisans Roofing 2020 Ltd are the entities responsible for delivering the advertised services in accordance with the stipulated terms and conditions. All rights, obligations, and liabilities pertaining to the project are associated with these legal entities.
